AdultProvisions ("AdultProvisions," "we," "us" or "our") runs the online store at adultprovisions.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. Our store is hosted on Shopify and is intended for adults in the United States.

The short version

• We never sell or rent your personal information.
• We share information with the service providers we need to run the store, such as Shopify, payment processors and shipping partners, as explained below.
• Orders ship in discreet packaging. Charges usually show as PAYPAL *APRO. They can also show as APRO or APROVISIONS. Our emails use a neutral sender name and subject lines.
• You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing support@adultprovisions.com.
• This Site is for adults only.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
• Order information: the items you buy, your order history, and payment confirmation. Card and PayPal payments are handled by our payment processors. We don't see or store your full card number.
• Account information: your login details and preferences, if you create an account.
• Messages: anything you send us, such as support emails or contact-form messages.
• Age information: your confirmation that you're an adult, and proof of age if we ask for it.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, approximate location (based on your IP address), and how you interact with the Site. This is collected with cookies, pixels and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below).

Information from others

We receive information from Shopify, from payment processors (for example, payment status and fraud-screening results), from shipping and fulfillment partners (for example, tracking and delivery status), and from analytics or advertising partners if we use them.

Your order history is sensitive

Because of what we sell, your order history can reveal personal details about your intimate life. We treat it as sensitive: we limit who can access it, we use it only for the purposes described in this policy, and we never sell it.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Process, ship and track your orders, and handle payments, returns and refunds
• Communicate with you about your orders and answer your questions
• Confirm age, and prevent fraud, abuse and security problems
• Run, maintain and improve the Site, including understanding how it's used
• Send marketing emails or texts you've opted into, and, if we use advertising tools, show you ads for our store
• Meet our legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others

How we share your information

We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our store:

• Shopify, which hosts our Site and checkout. You can read Shopify's privacy policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
• Payment processors, such as PayPal, to process payments and prevent fraud. When you pay with PayPal, PayPal's own privacy policy also applies.
• Shipping and fulfillment partners, including the US distributors and warehouses that pack our orders and the carriers that deliver them. They receive what's needed to ship your order: your name, shipping address, phone number if the carrier requires it, and the items ordered.
• Email and marketing tools, to send order updates and any marketing you've signed up for.
• Analytics and advertising tools, if we use them, which may collect device and browsing information through cookies and pixels to help us understand Site traffic and measure ads. You can opt out as described below.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, our customers or others, including to investigate fraud.
• Business transfers, if our business is sold or merged, in which case your information would stay covered by protections like those in this policy.
• With your permission, or at your direction.

Under some state laws, letting advertising tools collect information through cookies can count as "sharing" personal information or "targeted advertising," even though no money changes hands. You can opt out of this at any time.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use:

• Essential cookies that make the Site work, such as keeping items in your cart, running checkout, keeping you signed in, security, and remembering that you've confirmed you're 18 or older.
• Analytics and advertising cookies, if we use them, to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure and improve our ads.

Your choices:

• If we use advertising or analytics cookies, you can opt out through the cookie or privacy settings on our Site, or by emailing us.
• We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out request where the law requires.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Site, such as the cart and checkout, may not work.

There's no common standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, so we don't respond to them, apart from honoring GPC as described above.

Marketing and discreet communication

• We send marketing emails only if you sign up for them. If we offer text messages, we send them only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, by replying STOP to a text, or by emailing us.
• Our emails use a neutral sender name, and subject lines and previews don't describe adult products or use explicit language.
• Order confirmation and shipping emails list the items you ordered. Keep this in mind if other people can see your inbox.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, including California and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information and of targeted advertising (we don't sell your information, but you can opt out of advertising cookies)

• Appeal our decision on your request
• Exercise these rights without being treated differently for doing so

Deletion for everyone: wherever you live, you can ask us to delete your account and order history by emailing support@adultprovisions.com. We may need to keep some records that the law requires, such as tax and accounting records, or that we need to prevent fraud.

How to make a request: email support@adultprovisions.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." To protect your information, we'll verify your identity, usually by matching details such as your email address and order information. You can use an authorized agent where the law allows. We'll respond within the time the law requires.

Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing support@adultprovisions.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." If you're not satisfied with the result, you may contact your state's attorney general.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:

• Order and transaction records: as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal requirements
• Account information: until you close your account or ask us to delete it
• Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only what's needed to honor your opt-out

After that, we delete the information or make it anonymous.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we limit access to the people and service providers who need it. Checkout is secured and encrypted by Shopify, and payments are handled by our payment processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account password private.

Minors

This Site is only for adults who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where they live if that's higher. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, please email support@adultprovisions.com.

Other websites and services

Our Site may link to or use services run by others, such as PayPal. Their privacy practices are covered by their own policies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and where the law requires, we'll give you additional notice.
